Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The empanadas were absolutely delicious! This little cafe is cute and the staff is amazing, coffee was great the egg&bacon sandwitch was huge and full of flavour. Absolutely recommended!"
"A Hidden Gem for Comfort Food Lovers I stopped by this charming little café with my son on a Saturday, and we were in for a real treat. While they usually serve a solid selection of paninis, cornbread, sandwiches, and great coffee during the week, Saturdays are extra special. That’s when they offer a Colombian homemade special meal — we had the most amazing soup, served with a warm cornbread on the side. You could taste the love in every bite. It’s a family-owned and run spot, and that warmth shines through in both the food and the atmosphere. If you're looking for a cozy, welcoming place with real comfort food, this is the place to go."
"Inexpensive friendly café with freshly prepared food. Lovely coffee, soup of the day was delicious, and the empanadas, too. Recommended if you are in the area. Many thanks."
"I adore this place, the owner is so sweet and genuine as is everyone else working there. I often visit for empanadas and coffee but I have also had great experiences with their other food. It’s a little place but very cozy."
"The Cafe is small but led by big hearted ladies! The greatings were warm and you made feel very welcome. Coffee was delicious. The gluten free options on the menu were great opportunity for me to try Colombian delicacies all homemade. The prices are very resonable despite is just round a corner from King's Cross Station. Do yourself a favour and if like myself you love food and different cuisines visit the place. There is also vast choice of sandwiches and tasty smoothies. I will see you next time I'm in London!"
"The Empanadas my friend...the Empanadas. I honestly cannot recommend them enough. Combined with the amazingly friendly staff and delicious smoothies you MUST go here."
"I loved this place, it has such a homey community vibe and the food was amazing"
"Had such a cozy and pleasant time here I had to leave a review. For London prices and such a fresh and buttery sweet croissant, £1.80 eat in is unheard of. I got my cortado super fast and the empanada was so delicious - they asked if I wanted spicy sauce and it was the cherry on top. Sat outside on a sunny spring day and was so delighted to see how many friendly faces came in. The staff are just incredible. They are so warm and welcoming to everyone, always share a small and exchange plenty of conversations with so many regulars. Really haven't felt the community in a coffee shop for a while. I will definitely be back!! Muchísimas gracias"
